We actually have to take a little break from the festival today (with the exception of the Filmmaker Welcome Party tonight), as we’ll be in the studio recording the audio commentaries to our upcoming DVD release due out this summer. However, we want to strongly urge everyone to attend the Perseverance: Woman in the Industry Forum (11am @ Enzian), sponsored by our friends at Women In Film & Television of Florida. This is a great organization that all Florida filmmakers, women AND men, should join, and I’m personally sorry to be missing this forum.
Also, if you get a chance, check out Shorts #4; “Loves Me Not” (9pm @ Regal) featuring this year’s Oscar-winning short, “God of Love,” easily the best short we’ve seen in a long, long time.
What else will you be seeing today? Let us know!

The 20th Annual Florida Film Festival began last Friday, but it really begins today, with more daytime events, free forums, and other gatherings. For the next few days, we’ll post our agenda here, so that our fans know the stuff we’re checking out. Hopefully, you can join us! We’ll also Tweet our activities throughout the day, so be sure to follow us on Twitter to track us down.
What else should we see today? Shoot us a Tweet with your recommendation @abeautifulbelly!
