After two and a half months of searching and over 200 candidates, Candle Fish Pictures is pleased to announce the stars of A BEAUTIFUL BELLY!
Chris Worley as Jason Ackart
Chris Worley is a professional actor/comedian who grew up in Central Florida but now lives in NYC. While in Orlando, Worley performed at Universal Studios for several years and in many of the company’s top talent venues and shows, as well as in several other prestigious local theatres. He moved to New York in June of ‘07 and is one of the founding members of Counting Squares Theatre, who currently have residence with the Horse Trade Theatre Group. Together they have put on five full length productions and are gaining more interest and a growing fanbase with each new production they unviel. When he isn’t losing the lottery or playing basketball, he enjoys doing improv at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and performing stand-up at numerous comedy venues in Manhattan.

Lauren Brown as Danielle “Danny” Ackart
Lauren Brown, originally from Maryland, now lives in Orlando, FL, where she works as a professional actor. She has been featured in several local and national commercials, though her true passion lies in film and TV. Lauren has been featured as a leading lady in both short and feature length films that are currently on the festival circuit, including One Night, Final Toll, Action 5 News and most recently, The Sacred. She has also enjoyed hosting for television and will soon be seen on the Fox Sports Channel in January 2010. Lauren received a degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida and once made a living as a real estate agent. She soon realized the corporate business world wasn’t her cup of tea, promptly announced to the world that she would be an actor, and hasn’t been taken seriously since.
