Andrew Kenneth Gay - Writer / Director / Producer
Andrew Kenneth Gay is a freelance professional in film production and a graduate student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film & Digital Media. Andrew earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Philosophy/Religion with a Minor in Creative Writing from Flagler College, St. Augustine, FL, in 2003, and his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from UCF in 2006. He has worked professionally as a production coordinator, production manager, line producer, and assistant director on commercials, industrials, episodic television, feature-length motion pictures, music videos, New Media productions, and motion picture shorts. He has worked with Spike TV, VH1, the Discovery Channel, Nike, Bealls Outlet, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and the Disney Channel.In addition to his production work, Andrew has taught or lectured on topics ranging from film production to screenwriting at UCF, Southeastern University, Flagler College, and the New York Film Academy. Likewise, he has produced dozens of successful, festival-bound, independent short films, including three he also wrote and directed: “Naked,” “Love is Deaf,” and most recently, “Melissa with a Heart Around It.” Together these three films have received eight awards and 50 “official selections” at film festivals around the globe.
John William Wright - Producer
John Wright has seven years experience in entertainment, as both a performer and production professional, and has been on contract with Universal since 2005. He has worked behind the scenes on numerous commercials, industrials, music videos, and short films. Likewise, he is a SAG-eligible actor who has appeared on stage and on screen in commercials, motion pictures, a sitcom pilot, and a number of plays.
Kate Wilcox - Producer
Kate Wilcox attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she earned a BA in Cinema Studies and a minor in Mass Communication. Her experience includes a range of both in- office and on-set production jobs with Deeb Studios in Orlando, FL, as well as other freelance production work. In addition to her work on student films at both the undergraduate and graduate level, she has worked on projects for such companies as VH1, Brighthouse Networks, and Valencia Community College. Her roles have included Coordinator, Client Liason, and Production Manager.
Dave DeBorde - Associate Producer
Dave DeBorde is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened at over 60 film festivals, domestically and internationally, and has garnered over 27 major awards. His short film anthology Potluck is in distribution for the Christian media market, and one of the films in that collection, “Success Story, Part I,” was selected for competition at the Festival de Cannes. He is the founder and director of the Southeastern University film program and has consulted on multiple major motion pictures, including Bella, which won the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival and had a national theatrical release. His own feature debut, Lakeland Love Comedy recently had its work-in-progress premiere at the Sunscreen Film Festival, and his latest feature project, Superstar, is currently in development.
Michelle Roca - Production Manager
Michelle has worked as stage manager, assistant director, art department coordinator, and production assistant on feature films, episodic television, and commercials, and with such companies as Dunkin Donuts, Nickelodeon, VH1, Fremantle Media and The History Channel. She has also successfully budgeted and produced countless motion picture shorts.
